MOVING DAY CHECKLIST

Moving can be one of the most traumatic events

you will ever experience!

First you live in chaos for weeks in your old home as you decide what to keep, what to give away, what to send out to be repaired, reupholstered, or refinished, and then the effort of getting all the closets and drawers emptied out. Amazing what you can find in the back of  garage that you had forgotten about.

Then moving day comes and you are really living in chaos now. The last few things get thrown into some random boxes and you are off to your new home.  Finally, the movers are all gone. The mountains of boxes are overwhelming! Now, you are hungry, tired and cranky, and you can’t find the sheets for your bed, and or the box with the towels and soap for tomorrow.   There is no way to avoid the confusion of moving day, but with a little planning you can at least guarantee yourself clean sheets and towels and a little bit of food at the end of a long day by using my list.
